NANO Medical ECM

Claims and approvals exchanged with payers in one standard format

ECM-main-icon

What is NANO
eClaim Engine/Messenger/Adaptor ?

When a provider and a payer do not speak the same format, somebody re-keys the difference by hand — and every re-key is a chance to introduce the error that comes back as a rejection weeks later. NANO eClaim is the layer that removes that step.

A cloud-based engine, messenger and adaptor that communicates with Shafafiya and the Dubai Health Post Office, it moves claims straight through instead of through an inbox — so claims leave in the form the payer expects, and responses come back against the claim they belong to.

Benefits

Built for volume

Claim traffic is not steady — it arrives in month-end and cut-off surges, which is exactly when a manual process falls behind and starts costing a submission window. The engine is built to move large batches in one pass, so the busiest day is handled the same way as the quietest one.

Checks that run before submission

Validation runs automatically on the way out, so structural and mapping errors are caught while the claim can still be corrected rather than after a payer has refused it. Pair it with NANO CSS, the claim scrubber, and eligibility, medical necessity and coding are checked in the same outbound pass.

One thread per claim

Submissions, resubmissions, remittances and payer responses stay attached to the claim they belong to instead of scattering across inboxes and spreadsheets — which is what makes a query answerable in seconds rather than in an afternoon of searching.

Available wherever the work is

Because it is cloud-based, it needs an internet connection and nothing else — no local install, no per-desk deployment. Billing staff, a branch and an outsourced partner all work against the same live claim set rather than emailing versions of it to each other.

More about this product

Standards and code sets

  • Shafafiya
  • Dubai Health Post Office (DHPO)

How this works with the rest of the suite

  • NANO CSS

Pair the two and eligibility, medical necessity and coding are all checked in the same outbound pass the claim is already making.

  • NANO HUB

The hub is the wider transactions post office; eClaim is the provider-side engine that feeds and reads it.

  • NANO RCM

Submission is one step of the revenue cycle — this is the step, and the cycle is what decides whether it succeeds.

  • NANO HIE

Claims are one kind of message between organisations; the exchange carries the clinical record behind them.

Frequently asked questions

What does an eClaim engine actually do?

It takes the claim your system produced and delivers it to the payer in the structure that payer accepts, then matches every response — acceptance, rejection, remittance — back to the claim it belongs to. Without that layer, somebody re-keys the difference by hand, which is where most avoidable rejections begin.

Which channels does it speak to?

It communicates with Shafafiya and the Dubai Health Post Office, the two channels UAE claim traffic moves through. That is what lets a claim go straight through rather than through an inbox.

How does it cope with month-end volume?

Claim traffic is not steady. It arrives in month-end and cut-off surges, which is exactly when a manual process falls behind and starts costing a submission window. The engine moves large batches in one pass, so the busiest day is handled the same way as the quietest one.

Can we find a specific claim again afterwards?

Yes, and that is a deliberate feature rather than a side effect. Submissions, resubmissions, remittances and payer responses stay attached to the claim they belong to instead of scattering across inboxes and spreadsheets, which is what makes a query answerable in seconds rather than in an afternoon of searching.

What do we have to install?

Nothing locally. Because it is cloud-based it needs an internet connection and nothing else, so billing staff, a branch and an outsourced partner all work against the same live claim set rather than emailing versions of it to each other.
